Hi fellow travelers,
I’m Daniel, from Melbourne.
Early in my life I became a traveller. This was when my parents decided to move our small family to a small town near Stockholm, Sweden. We travelled through Europe for a few years whilst living in Sweden, before moving back to Australia. The travel and moving didn’t end there, and within a few years we were packing up to move to Switzerland, finding a beautiful home in the small Swiss village of Neuheim. After four years in Switzerland, we moved to the United States. Which exciting American city awaited us? Our parents kept the location in America a surprise for a while, so we got very excited thinking about whether it would be NYC, San Fransisco, or LA. And then one day we found out it was to be Kansas City. Kansas City, whilst seemingly slow-moving was a gateway to the Midwest of America; and the people, food, and culture of the region was simply amazing.
Recently I’ve travelled to The Grampians, Great Ocean Road, and the Blue Mountains here in Australia. And to Myanmar and Vietnam in Southeast Asia.
Myanmar was phenomenal, it left me with the urge to travel more and to travel smarter. The beautiful people along the way really crafted my love for the country. Taxi drivers, tour guides, chefs, farmers, and homemakers all had unique takes on the places they lived.
